Kim In Kyum represented Korea in the 1995 Venice Biennale and Korea's first artist invited to the Centre Pompidou, Paris Atelier Resident and had a solo exhibition at the Atelier Pompidou in Paris in 1996.  His transparent drawings bear bright space in its constructed plane and his so-called ‘Drawing Sculpture’ represents ‘Space-less’, the state of being free from given space transforming across two and three dimensional space. By inverting traditional modes of volume and proportion, flat stainless steel sculptures interplay with the three-dimensionality of his highly detailed drawings, creating an unexpected complement in colour, form and space. 
 
His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions worldwide.
